Got a stack collecting dust on your nightstand? Throw down at the book exchange table. Swap a couple, grab a couple, or just browse. Zero rules, pure good vibrations. 🟨
Park the rig for free. Grab a bite if you’re feeling it (Whole Foods ‘za gets plenty of love), but hanging out won’t cost you –save that dime for the jukebox, mama. 🏦

It’s one of the most photogenic buildings in Honolulu, with its columns and courtyard and whatever you call those second-floor indoor lanais.
But views like these are breathtaking too, especially because of what these shelves hold. It’s the Language, Literature, and History section, where all the big, important stuff of life is. Love and war, life and death, good and evil, Nikon and Canon.

Enter the building, go to the left wing and head straight back. You’ll find Emily and your book-loving friends.
Mix, mingle, and chat! We’ll do some quick voluntary photos to show off what everyone is reading, then read quietly for a blissful hour.
The library closes at 7, so come a little early if you’d like to browse and browse and browse and browse.
Parking: Metered spots are available all around the library. Street parking’s free at 6:00.
The Iolani Palace lot is super close and secure. It also becomes free at 6:00, when they shut the gate. If you need to bail before 7:00, just flag down a security guard and they’ll let you out.
Forget your book? No sweat! You’re in a giant building filled with them. Grab something off the shelf and maybe even take a new friend home with your library card.
We can’t wait to read with you. So bring a friend! The more the merrier!

Luckily, no graphics skills are needed for Proof Readers Book Club, our monthly get-together for cocktails, mocktails, pasta, books, and vibes.
Unlike our usual Silent Book Club meetups, there’s no program or schedule. Show up, say hi, open a book, have some refreshment, and read. Or just chat!
There will be a book exchange table, so bring a few or take a few.
We start at 6 and go to whenever.

You’ll find it right across Keawe Street from SALT, in The Collection condominium complex. Make sure you’re at the Kaka‘ako Blue Tree, not the one on Kapi‘olani Blvd!
If coming down Ala Moana Blvd, turn onto Keawe St.
The entrance to a garage is on your left immediately after the turn. This lot offers 4 hours of FREE parking. Take a photo of your license plate and scan the QR code at the front counter for validation.
Don’t scan in the garage if you want the free parking. Scan in the cafe!
The large SALT garage managed by Metro is on the right side of Keawe St. if you enter from Ala Moana Blvd. Blue Tree does NOT validate for the SALT garage. Use this only if you plan to visit other SALT businesses for validation.
